Andrew Solomon has twenty years’ experience as a documentaries narrator, writing, translating and adapting scripts from German and French. Andrew adapts all scripts to meet the expectations of a specific audience, with the aim of guaranteeing the audience’s full enjoyment of the film.
Beside native RP English, Andrew offers regional and international accents and character voices, recording in studios in the UK, France, Germany & Austria, and via video and audio link to clients in other countries.
Andrew’s career experience includes 5 years as Commissioning Editor at Docstar/Canal+ in Paris; Head of Documentary Studio Hamburg (ARD), and 9 years as Head of UNIVERSUM at ORF, commissioning blue-chip Natural History, Science and History docs. He has also consulted for ZDF Enterprises and leading production companies.
